Starting from firmware version 3.76, the SAC 3690-6M, SAC 3690, and SAC 3692IP models include a powerful new security feature: the ability to set passwords on UHF TAGs (e.g., model SAC 4103) and on the readers themselves.
With this update, TAGs and readers can be paired using a shared password, ensuring that only authorized TAGs are read by each specific device.
✅ Application example: In a vehicle access control system, the UHF reader can be configured to recognize only TAGs with the same password. Any unmatched TAG will be automatically rejected.
